The strongest guarantee in resale is knowing exactly where a piece has been. Everything in this archive has been in one wardrobe since the day it was bought, Patricia's own. Nothing is sourced from consignors, auction lots or wholesale bundles.
Each object was purchased new by Patricia Lewis from the house or an authorised retailer and kept in her personal collection. Original receipts, boxes, dust bags, authenticity cards and service papers are included whenever they still exist and are listed on the product page.
Every piece is examined in daylight before photography: stitching, hardware stamps, serials and date codes, lining, sole and heel condition, and any repair history. Leather goods are conditioned, garments are cleaned and pressed, footwear is resoled where needed, and watches are serviced and timed by a watchmaker.
Images are shot on a neutral ground with no retouching of wear. If a corner is rubbed or a heel is scuffed, you will see it in the photos and read it in the condition report.
New
Never worn. Tags, packaging and papers intact where they were supplied. Indistinguishable from the day it was bought.
Mint
Unworn or carried once. No signs of use; indistinguishable from new. Original packaging and papers included whenever they exist.
Excellent
Worn lightly, if at all. Any wear is faint and fully noted in the condition report. Hardware bright, interiors clean.
Very Good
Visible but gentle signs of a life well lived, such as softened corners, light sole wear or a small mark, all photographed and described.
Good
Honest character. Wear is clear and documented in detail, and the price reflects it. Ready to be carried and loved again.
Have anything you buy here reviewed by an independent authenticator of your choosing. If a piece is ever found not to be genuine, write to us with the report and we will refund you in full, final sale notwithstanding.
